and the thing that really gets me the most—it doesnt matter what the fuck you do, how you react. everything seems to have a bad outcome to it :/
be friendly or polite at all, even just simply nod your head…and its perceived as a signal that youre down to fuck.
ignore the muthafucka(s), you have to deal w getting yelled at and/or cussed out, or some other subtle symptom of butthurtness
tell them off…you might as well run for it, cuz thats when they start throwing shit at you, whether it be inanimate objects (soda cans for example) or their fists.
and then theres the followers, and the gropers, etc, idk. so many diff types of creeps and predators…its fucking alarming
and its not because i live right by the track. its not because of how i dress or carry myself. its not about me walking alone at night. it happens everywhere, every time.

so my bf works at this store that sells mostly porno mags, vids, etc. most of its vintage
sometimes we sleep there…which has been very interesting
ill either stay up at night and get bored (hes a big snorebaby) or ill be up in the morning while hes out getting his grind on and get…bored.
so to cure this boredom ive been delving into the world of porn, which isnt really new to me…but all the vintage stuff is awesome. i dont even really like porn—actually, i find the majority of it to be extremely problematic, but i wont get into that—but idk, theres something extremely interesting about how different shit was, say, 30 yrs ago?
like, the centerfolds in the magazines n shit…its…classier? same message and same problems, but, for example, i was pleasantly surprised to see models that arent completely hairless down there (not that theres anything wrong w that, i just hate how theres a standard for that today) and the women also seemed less…dead behind the eyes? that seemed to go kinda downhill in the 80s.
and the playboy articles? i actually like some of them
color me shocked…
a lot of stuff in the store still disturbs me tho, some of its triggering…mostly the dvd/video covers, even though a lot of them are comic gold at the same time. but most of it screams rape culture.
anyway, im just rambling now lol. time for art :)
